Green Jello Salad
Green Jello Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small box lime jello, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. cold water or juice from 1 regular can crushed pineapple (set pineapple aside to use water; mix according to directions on package), 1 small container cool whip and 2 to 3 tbsp. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Let chill in refrigerator until mixture starts to jell. Remove and add drained, crushed pineapple, 1 small container of Cool Whip, 2 to 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 small bottle of maraschino cherries and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
Mix thoroughly. Add marshmallows, if you wish.
Put back in refrigerator and jell until ready to serve.
