Green Beans Supreme
Green Beans Supreme is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shredded american cheese, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp. paprika and 1/4 tsp. m.s.g., this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter.
Add onion and cook over medium heat until tender.
Remove from heat and blend in flour, salt, paprika, mustard, m.s.g. and Worcestershire sauce.
Add 1 cup heavy cream. Simmer sauce 5 minutes.
Add to well drained green beans.
Add cheese on top and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons bread crumbs, if desired.
Bake in shallow 1-quart baking dish until cheese is melted.
