Made with 2 (1 lb. each) cans green beans, drained, 3/4 c. milk, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted), 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper and 1 clove garlic, minced finely, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper, water chestnuts, mushrooms and half can of French fried onions.
Mix well.
Pour into 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Top with Cheez Whiz or grated Cheddar cheese and remaining French fried onions.
Bake 5 to 10 minutes longer.
Serve hot.
