Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla.
Add rest of dry ingredients.
Form into balls and roll in sugar.
Grease cookie sheet and put a ball at time on sheet and take the bottom of a glass and press dough flat.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes. The cookies are crisp and tasty.
