Great Flavor'S Quick Crunch Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. butter, 4 tbsp. water, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3 (4 oz.) milk chocolate bars, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Put first 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
Stir gently over low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
Continue to cook until mixture is rather brown or a little, tested in cold water, is very brittle.
Pour into a buttered, oblong pan (we use an 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 7/8-inch pan).
While this is still hot (after about 3 minutes), place chocolate bars on top of mixture.
Then, sprinkle with nuts.
When candy is cold, break into pieces.
