Grapefruit-Mint Sorbet
Grapefruit-Mint Sorbet is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. commercial refrigerated grapefruit juice and 1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped, fresh mint, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine boiling water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves; let cool.
Add grapefruit juice and mint.
Pour into a 9-inch square pan.
Freeze until almost firm.
Spoon mixture into a mixing bowl.
Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until slushy.
Return mixture to pan and freeze 8 hours.
To serve, let mixture stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Yields 3 1/2 cups.
