Grape-Nuts Pudding
Grape-Nuts Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tsp. grated lemon rind, 4 tbsp. butter, 1 c. sugar, 3 egg yolks, well beaten and 3 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Add lemon rind to butter and cream well.
Add sugar gradually, blending after each addition.
Add egg yolks and beat thoroughly. Add lemon juice, flour, Grape-Nuts and milk, mixing well.
Fold in egg whites.
Turn into greased 8-inch baking dish and place in pan of hot water.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Check after 1 hour.
When done, it has a crust on top with the pudding below.
Serve hot or cold with cream.
