Granny's Pound Cake
Granny'S Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter or margarine (room temperature), 1/2 c. crisco shortening, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs (room temperature) and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter or margarine, Crisco and sugar thoroughly with electric mixer.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Add flour and milk alternately; add vanilla and nuts.
Stir with spoon to mix.
Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan. Place in a cold oven.
Turn oven on to
