Granny Rolls
Granny Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. shortening, 4 tbsp. sugar, 1 pkg. yeast and 1 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Add shortening and sugar to boiling water; then let cool.
Mix yeast, warm water and eggs; stir well.
Then add flour alternately with shortening mixture.
Let set in refrigerator overnight.
Pour out on floured surface; knead just enough to handle easily.
Use a biscuit cutter to cut out rolls.
Dip in melted butter; then fold in half.
Let rise about 3 hours; then bake at 400Β° about 20 minutes.
Makes about 50 medium rolls.
They will continue to rise and bake better if started in a cold oven.
