Granny Pack's Stack Cake
Granny Pack'S Stack Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. molasses, 4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. salt and 2 (16 1/2 oz.) jars applesauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream together the butter and sugar until light. Stir in molasses.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add to creamed mixture along with milk, beating after each.
Stir together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture along with milk, beating after each. Grease and flour 3 round pans.
Pour 1 1/3 cups batter into each. Bake at 375Β° until done.
Remove from oven and cool on a rack. Repeat until batter is used.
Put applesauce between each layer and on top.
Refrigerate.
