Grandmom's Cornbread
Grandmom'S Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plain white corn meal, 1/2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 stick margarine and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine meal, flour, sugar and salt.
Mix together.
Pour 3 cups boiling water over flour mixture and margarine.
Mix well, eliminating any lumps.
Add 1 cup milk and 2 eggs last.
Mix and pour into a greased and floured 12 x 8-inch pan or small Bundt pan. Bake in 400Β° oven for 30 to 40 minutes until brown.
Pour 4 ounces water over top of pan when you take from oven.
