Grandmaw's Chip Cookies
Grandmaw'S Chip Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, 1 c. packed light brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 2 eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs; add vanilla, baking soda and salt.
Blend in oats, flour and water to make fairly stiff dough.
Blend in pecans, raisins and chocolate chips.
Drop mixture by teaspoon onto baking sheet.
Flatten slightly.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are just browned around edges and feel firm in center.
Don't overbake.
Remove from cookie sheets.
Cool on rack. Makes 4 dozen.
