Grandma's Special Sugar Cookies
Grandma'S Special Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 scant tsp. soda, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1 c. margarine or shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and nutmeg.
Cut in margarine as for pie crust.
Add vanilla.
In separate bowl, beat eggs; add sugar and milk.
Beat thoroughly and mix with sifted mixture.
Roll out, cut and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400Β° until lightly browned.
