Grandma's Raisin Pie
Grandma'S Raisin Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. lemon juice, 2 c. raisins and 3 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Bring water to boiling.
Add raisins and cover; cook 5 minutes.
Mix sugar and flour and stir into raisins.
Lower to medium heat.
Cook, stirring all the time, until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat.
Stir in lemon juice.
Pour into unbaked pie crust and dot with butter.
Add the top crust; crimp the sides and put a slit in top for the steam to be released.
Bake for 30 minutes at 450Β°.
