Grandma's Gingerbread
Grandma'S Gingerbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. crisco, 2 eggs, 1/4 c. molasses and 1 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, Crisco, eggs and molasses.
Blend well.
Combine flour, salt, soda, baking powder and spices; gradually blend into molasses mixture.
In hot water.
Pour into 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Best if served warm with Cool Whip.
