Grandma's Chocolate Icing
Grandma'S Chocolate Icing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 sticks margarine, 4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. cocoa or less to color sugar, 1 big cooking spoon karo syrup and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Margarine in a medium size boiler.
Mix the sugar, cocoa, syrup, milk and vinegar together.
Pour this mixture into the melted margarine; bring to rolling boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Place boiler in cold water in sink, stirring until icing loses its shine.
Add vanilla. Stir.
Spread while warm on cold cake.
