Grandma's Bread Pudding
Grandma'S Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with about 1/2 loaf italian bread, cut into 1-inch chunks (4 c.), 1 1/2 c. milk, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Before serving, grease
1-quart casserole; set aside.
In medium bowl with wire whisk or fork, beat milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs until well mixed; add bread, raisins and butter.
Bread is well coated. Sprinkle mixture lightly cinnamon.
Preheated 300Β° oven for 55 to 60 minutes, until knife inserted in center of pudding comes out clean.
