Grandma's Biscuits
Grandma'S Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 level tsp. salt, 1/2 level tsp. baking powder, 2 level tbsp. shortening and 3/4 c. very cold milk (approximately) or milk and water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Sift well together flour, salt and baking powder.
Rub in shortening as lightly as possible with fingers, working just until well blended.
Then mix to a very soft dough with milk.
Mix with spoon or hand.
Turn the dough onto a well-floured board and roll out or pat 3/4-inch thick.
Cut biscuits and lay on baking pan not touching.
Bake in a quick oven (400Β°) for 12 to 14 minutes.
