Grandma's Apple Butter-Jelly
Grandma'S Apple Butter-Jelly is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 bushels apples, 70 lb. sugar, 20 boxes sure-jell and 2 boxes allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cut apples in quarters and cook until soft.
Squeeze through colander. Put 5 cups of apples into pot.
Bring to a boil. Add 7 cups of sugar and three shakes of allspice.
Bring to a boil again.
Add 1 box of Sure-Jell.
Bring to a boil again for one minute.
Pour into jars and seal.
Makes approximately 80 pints.
