Grandma Mary's Rolls
Grandma Mary'S Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. scalded milk, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. margarine and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Scald milk; add margarine, mashed potatoes and egg (I use blender).
Add sugar, salt and yeast mixture.
Beat in 1 1/2 cups of flour.
Add rest of flour.
Knead well.
Let rise until double. Can punch down and let rise again if you have time.
Form in small balls and dip into melted shortening and place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Let rise at least 1 hour in warm place.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 20 minutes, until golden.
Makes 20 to 24 rolls.
