π Recipe adapted from RecipeNLG-Full
Brown ground beef and chopped onion in cooking oil with bell pepper in electric frypan or large skillet.
Drain oil; add tomato sauce and water to the ground beef, onion and bell pepper; season with salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir constantly with wooden spoon to prevent sticking.
Add elbow macaroni to mixture directly from package (uncooked) and continue stirring.
Add more water as needed to prevent dryness. Macaroni will absorb the water and make the sauce as it cooks. (Spaghetti may be substituted for macaroni.)
Cook slowly until macaroni is tender, 20 to 30 minutes.
