Mix butter, 1 egg, nuts and cake mix, then pat out in 9 x 12-inch Pyrex.
Stir cream cheese, then add sugar and 2 eggs alternately, beginning and ending with sugar.
Pour over first mixture.
Bake at 325Β° about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
