Gooey Cake
Gooey Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1/2 c. margarine (soft), 4 eggs, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft) and 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

With mixer, beat together cake mix, melted butter and 2 eggs. Pour into a greased 8 1/2 x 11 1/2-inch cake pan.
Beat softened cream cheese and 2 eggs.
Add powdered sugar (less 2 tablespoons set aside).
Beat until smooth; spread over cake mixture and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
When cool, sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar (set aside) on top.
