Golden Nut Bread
Golden Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. shortening, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream together shortening and brown sugar.
Beat in egg well. Sift flour, salt and soda together; add to first mixture alternately with undiluted orange juice concentrate, stirring after each addition.
Quickly stir in nuts and pineapple (do not drain).
Bake in greased small loaf pan (approximately 9 x 5 x 3-inch) in preheated oven at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
Empty onto rack to cool.
