Golden Fried Shrimp
Golden Fried Shrimp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. raw shrimp (26 to 30), 2 egg whites and 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. flour and 1/2 c. crushed saltines, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Butterfly shrimp and wash under cold running water.
Combine egg and salt in a shallow bowl.
In another container, combine flour and cracker crumbs.
Dip each shrimp in egg mixture, then roll in cracker mixture.
Repeat procedure.
Heat oil until 365Β°. Fry shrimp for 2 or 3 minutes until golden brown.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Makes 6 servings.
