Golden Baked Onion Casserole
Golden Baked Onion Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium onions, thinly sliced, 1 stick margarine, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 c. milk and 12 oz. shredded swiss cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Saute onions in margarine until tender, about 20 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon.
Put into 9 x 13-inch casserole dish; set aside.
Mix together the soup, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour over onions; top with Swiss cheese.
Slice French bread; dip 1 side in melted margarine.
Place slices of bread (butter side up) on onions-cheese, making sure to cover completely with the bread slices.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
