Cream the shortening and sugar.

Add eggs, vanilla and dry ingredients alternately with milk.

Place in a 9 x 15-inch greased pan.

Slice apples like for pie.

Roll in cinnamon and sugar.

Put on dough.

Make mixture of sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on top. Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 45 minutes.
