In skillet, brown chops in 2 tablespoons shortening.
Pour off fat. Stir in soup and water. Cover and cook over low heat (210° to 220°, electric frying pan) for 45 minutes or until tender. Stir now and then. Make gravy with leftover soup and water. Serve on boiled potatoes.
