Glazed Fruit Salad
Glazed Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (20 oz.) cans pineapple chunks, 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange sections, drained, 1 c. maraschino cherries, drained, 3 large bananas, sliced and 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Drain pineapple, reserving 1 cup juice.
Combine fruit and pecans in a large bowl and toss gently.
Combine pudding mix and reserved pineapple juice in a mixing bowl.
Beat on high speed of electric mixer 1 minute.
Pour pudding mixture over fruit and pecans.
Toss gently.
Refrigerate at least 3 to 4 hours.
Serves 10 to 12.
