Glazed Carrots
Glazed Carrots is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into 3 to 4-inch pieces, 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, 4 tbsp. cold water and 3 tsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook carrots until almost done; drain.
Put carrots into frying pan and add margarine and brown sugar.
In separate small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until smooth and add to carrot mixture.
Let it simmer uncovered on stove for 30 minutes; add nuts.
Put carrots into a casserole dish and keep warm in oven (very low temperature) indefinitely.
