Gladys' Chocolate Pudding
Gladys' Chocolate Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. dry cocoa, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
In medium heavy pan, gradually stir in milk.
Cook medium heat; stir constantly until it boils, not too hot.
Don't hurry it.
Use wooden spoon. Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla. Pour in clean bowl.
Refrigerate.
Use as pudding or terrific for pies.
Approximately 3 cups pudding.
