Gingersnaps
Gingersnaps is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with c. shortening, c. sugar, egg, c. sorghum molasses and c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix shortening, sugar, egg and molasses together.
Sift and add to mixture the flour, soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Mix well.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Roll in sugar.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 dozen.
