Gingersnaps
Gingersnaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. molasses, 1 beaten egg and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream shortening and sugar; add molasses and egg and beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
Roll in small balls; place two inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
