Gingered Fruit

Made with c. dried or fresh figs, c. fresh lime juice (about 2 limes), c. mild honey, to 3 tsp. minced or grated fresh ginger and pink grapefruit, skins and membranes removed and sectioned, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. If you are using dried figs, place them in a bowl and pour boiling water over them.
Let stand 10 minutes, then drain and cut in half lengthwise.
