Gingerbread
Gingerbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. cane syrup, 1 egg, 4 tbsp. buttermilk and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 375°.
Melt butter and stir in syrup.
Beat egg with buttermilk.
Mix together the dry ingredients, then stir in the eg mixture and the syrup mixture.
Pour into a 9-inch square pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake 25 minutes. Serve with ice cream, yogurt or sorbet.
