Sift flour and spices.
Mix in large bowl sugar and oil. Continue mixing and add molasses, eggs and flour mixture.
Add 2 teaspoons baking soda, mixed in 1/8 cup hot water.
Beat lightly and quickly.
Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 300Β° for 1 hour or until cake tester comes out clean.
