Ginger Sticks

Heat oven to 350°. Line a 13 x 9 baking pan with foil and spray foil with cooking spray.
In mixing bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, ginger, cinnamon, pepper and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter until creamy.
Add sugar and molasses, beating until smooth.
Put flour mixture into butter mixture and beat until smooth.
Spread into prepared pan.
Sprinkle with ginger.
Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with coarse sugar; bake 10 minutes more.
Cut into thirds lengthwise, then crosswise into 12 (1-inch) strips.
