Ginger Ale Pound Cake

Cream butter and shortening.
Add sugar; continue to cream until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add flavoring, then add flour and ginger ale alternately.
Bake in a tube pan at 325Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Freezes very well.
