Using a melon baller, core apples without cutting through the bottom.
Stand apples in a baking dish just large enough to hold them.
Place 1 tablespoon raisins and 1 teaspoon brown sugar in center of each apple.
Pour in the ginger ale.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes, basting frequently, until apples are tender but not mushy.
