German Upside-Down Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped nuts, 1/2 c. oleo or butter and 8 oz. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Spread a 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam.
Mix nuts and coconut together.
Spread in bottom of pan.
Mix cake mix according to directions.
Pour over coconut and nut mixture.
Mix butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar together.
Spoon over batter and swirl around.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes.
Turn upside-down onto a plate while hot.
