German Sweet Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 oz.) pkg. baker's german's sweet chocolate, 1/3 c. milk, divided, 2 tbsp. sugar, chocolate syrup (for garnish) and 1 (8 oz.) carton cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Microwave sweet chocolate and 2 tablespoons of the milk in a large microwavable bowl on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through time.
Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Beat in cream cheese, sugar and rest of the milk until well blended.
Refrigerate 10 minutes. Stir in Cool Whip until smooth.
Pour into crust.
Freeze 4 hours or until firm.
Garnish with chocolate syrup drizzled lightly over top and drop additional Cool Whip by spoonfuls.
