German Sweet Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 oz.) pkg. baker's german's sweet chocolate, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. sugar and 4 egg yolks (unbeaten), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt chocolate in boiling water; cool.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolks, one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Add melted chocolate and vanilla; mix well.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add alternately with buttermilk to chocolate mixture.
Pour into three 8 or 9-inch pans.
Line pans with wax paper.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Frost cake with Coconut Pecan Frosting.
