German Sweet Chocolate Cake
German Sweet Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet chocolate, 2 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. soda and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt chocolate over low heat.
Sift flour with salt. Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Cream butter.
Add sugar and continue beating until well blended and fluffy.
Blend chocolate; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add vanilla. Add flour alternately with buttermilk mixture, mixing well.
Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch layer pans.
Bake at 350Β° approximately 30 minutes.
Cool and frost.
