German Skillet Dinner is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium can sauerkraut (water rinsed), 1/2 c. celery, 1/4 c. green pepper, diced, 1 small onion, diced and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Brown meat; drain and turn on paper towel.
Drain fat well. Rinse sauerkraut and drain.
Add all ingredients together in skillet and mix well.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes over low heat or put in casserole, cover and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Serves 2.
