German Sandwich
German Sandwich is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. hamburger, 1 large head cabbage, sliced, 2 medium onions, chopped, garlic to taste and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine ingredients, except bread dough, and cook at low heat, stirring occasionally until done.
Drain and cool.
Roll out bread dough 3/8-inch thick; cut into rectangles, 3 x 6-inch.
Place 1/2 cup meat mixture on one end of each rectangle.
Fold over and seal.
Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise.
Bake at 375Β° until golden brown.
