German Nut Roll
German Nut Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, 4 c. flour, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. warm water and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Use pastry blender.
Cut butter into flour and yeast until well mixed.
Mix water, eggs and sugar into dry ingredients.
Mix and let stand overnight in refrigerator in a large covered bowl. Divide into 4 parts.
Roll thin into a rectangle.
Combine remaining ingredients to make filling.
Divide filling into fourths.
Spreads over thin dough and roll.
Bake 2 rolls at a time at 350Β° on a cookie sheet until brown.
Slice.
