German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. shredded coconut, 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1 german chocolate cake mix, 2 (8 oz.) philly cream cheese and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix together coconut and pecans and pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam.
Set aside.
Mix cake mix according to directions on the box.
Pour mixture over the pecan-coconut mixture.
Do not stir!
Set aside.
In the microwave, melt together cream cheese and margarine.
Put on 30 seconds high.
Put on 30 seconds on high.
Stir, etc., until creamy, then add powdered sugar.
Pour on top of cake mix.
Do not stir!
Bake cake for 50 to 60 minutes in preheated 350Β° oven.
Cool and flip onto cake plate.
