German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped nuts, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 box german chocolate cake mix and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix coconut and pecans.
Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix cake mix according to directions and pour over coconut and nut mixture.
In saucepan, heat margarine and cream cheese until mixture is warm enough to stir in sugar.
Spoon on top of cake mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Do not cut until cold.
