German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 c. pecans, chopped, 1 c. coconut, 1 box powdered sugar and 1 (8 oz.) bar cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Butter a 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
Mix cake as directed on box. Sprinkle pecans and coconut in bottom of pan.
Pour cake batter over pecans and coconut.
Mix powdered sugar, butter and cream cheese together.
Mix will be thick.
Spoon cream cheese mixture over cake batter (do not spread).
Bake at 350Β° about 50 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
Serve from pan.
Do not try to turn out on plate (will not stick together).
