German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1 c. coconut, 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 stick butter, softened and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Grease a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Spread chopped pecans and coconut on bottom.
Prepare cake mix.
Pour over nuts and coconut. Mix next 4 ingredients.
Spread on top of cake mixture.
Bake at 300Β° for 40 minutes, or until done.
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
